Submission Guidelines

The Blair Goodwin Gallery is currently accepting submissions from photographers for possible representation or inclusion in group shows. We are seeking both emerging and established artists that will complement or expand our existing inventory. We consider work produced by digital and traditional processes, but require our photographers to posses a complete mastery of their respective medium with a critical eye towards print production.

We now only accept submissions via electronic media. Please send a CD or DVD that includes a selection of images, resume, artist statement, explanation of process and contact information. Submissions should encompass at least one complete and cohesive body of work.

Please include any documentation you wish us to consider on the CD - we appreciate hand written notes, but the sheer volume of materials we receive doesn’t allow us to accommodate such pleasantries. You may also send an email to submissions@pointreyesvisions.com with a link to your website.

Unfortunately we cannot respond to every submission we receive, if we have an interest in your work we will contact you.

Many photographers contact us about showing their work, publishing and self publishing, digital photography and aspects to becoming a fine art photographer or photojournalist.

We are planning to give a series of classes, lectures and workshops with respective experts in those fields. If you want to learn more about becoming a professional photographer and need some training to achieve your goals, please contact the gallery at classes@pointreyesvisions.com.

This has no bearing on whether we may be interested in showing your work, but we find that people sometimes need more skills to be able to submit a portfolio to a gallery, and we wish to help those photographers with promise to improve their work.
